Easy Bison Burgers!!!

Looking for a healthy alternative to a hamburger?  Look no further!!!  Bison is a great, very lean, and healthier substitute for beef, and has a great flavor!!!

For this recipe you will need:

1 lb Fresh Ground Bison ( usually available at Whole Foods)

10 Brown Rice Chips ( I use Lundbergs, Seaweed and sesame flavor).

Morton’s Lite salt and Fresh Ground Pepper to taste.

Take the brown rice chips and put them in a plastic bag. Roll over with a rolling pin until

broken up into small pieces.  Add to ground bison and mix in, until evenly distributed.  Add Lite salt and pepper.

I recommend grilling these for the best flavor. You could also cook them in a pan, or on a Foreman grill. If grilling, let burgers cook for about 3-4 minutes, then flip.  I like my burgers about medium, so cook to your liking.

I have the burgers pictured above with a grilled sweet potato, and perfect veggie mix. A delicious, healthy, balanced meal!

Enjoy!
