Product Review:  LATISSE

I have been using Latisse for 3 1/2 months now.  I have always wanted longer, thicker lashes.  Mine were short, stubby, and had to be curled with an eyelash curler to even see them.  I started using Latisse in Mid November, 2009.  The results started in just a few weeks.  I noticed that not only were my lashes getting longer, they were getting thicker!  I know that “darkening of the eyelashes” are listed as one of the side effects.  My eyelashes are really dark already, so if they did get any darker, I didn’t notice.  Now, my eyelashes are full and long, and very natural looking.

The application is simple.  You are provided with sealed packages of applicator brushes.  There are two per package.  You simply wash your face, remove your makeup, open the package, dip one brush in the solution, then apply to the base of your top lashes.  Then repeat with a new brush for the other eye.  Make sure you are careful when applying, so you don’t get the solution in your eyes.  Easy, right!?!

I started out applying the solution on a nightly basis.  As soon as my lashes were the length that I desired, I started applying the solution twice to three times per week, to maintain.  It took about 8 weeks to see the results that I wanted, but I am sure that it varies for everyone.

I am really loving the results that I have experienced using Latisse.  I did not experience any of the side effects, but it is always important to educate yourself on them before you start using the product.
