Good luck for the Great North!

Coming up next weekend, the Fitness America Great North Classic!!! This is such a special event to me. The first year that they held this show, yours truly won the Bikini Tall Class. Last year, one of my very first clients, Tarah Andrews took home the Bikini Tall Class title! I have many clients competing this year, and would like to recognize them all, and wish them the very best of luck!

Wishing Amber Blom, Bethany Nelson, Nu Lee, Kay Jordt, Jill Loesch, Melissa Connelly, Heather Rank, Mary Sailors, Christina Clawson, Tammy Wylie, Laura Berstein, Amanda Wera, Sara Erdman, Kim Maracotta, and Angie McLain all of the best! These ladies have all worked so hard to get where they are now, so we will be there cheering them on!!! Special shout out to Megan Moon,and Stefanie Rollins as well!

Best wishes to all of the competitors, enjoy your day, it will go by too fast. Take lots of pictures, so you will remember those fleeting moments!! Celebrate it with each other, you have all accomplished something that others only dream of!

You will see me there, cheering my team on, and probably losing my voice. Words cannot express how proud I am of my ladies, and I am sure there will be smiles, tears of joy, and hugs that day! Come cheer on ALL of the athletes that worked so hard to turn their dream and goal of competing into a reality!!!

Competitions ~ The value of the services I offer…….

Good morning! As most of you know, I come from a background of competition, both figure and bikini, local and national level. I competed in 12 different competitions from 2006-2010. NPC, NANBF, FAP, and WBFF. I started out working on my own, because I couldn’t find a coach. I needed help with posing, walking, setting a budget, and all of the details that a trainer couldn’t help me with. After my first two competitions, I did some research, and never went to a competition without a coach again!

I started my company to fill that void! I am here to help both new and seasoned competitors be at the top of their game for their competition, whether it be their first, or their 20th! I sit down with my clients and help map out a budget for all of the things they will need for their big day, suit, sportswear, hair, makeup, shoes, etc. This can be an expensive hobby, but getting a good idea of how much things cost, and starting on it early, is key.

Posing & Presentation are a HUGE part of your score when you compete! Being confident, rehearsed, and poised on stage doesn’t come easy to most. In fact, it was a big struggle for me! After many hours of working with a coach, my presentation scores were the best on stage! I can help by not only teaching women to walk in heels, I can help them pose to show off their body to their best ability! Not everyone walks or poses the same way, and shouldn’t, because we are all shaped differently. I am a PRO at this!

Choosing a suit also requires a good eye. Making sure a color “POPS” on someone and really highlights their physique, is a MUST! Figure suits and bikini suits are different, fit differently, and should exemplify, not detract or distract from the competitor. I work with many suit designers, all of which cut their suits properly, deliver their wares on time, and do excellent work! I assist with color selection, ordering, and going to fittings, if the designer is local.

I also offer a special booking service for the day of the show. Coordinating with a hair, makeup and tanning team, will have competitors looking and feeling fabulous on their big day! These services help put competitors at ease before they step on stage. Looking and feeling confident, sexy, and fit, translates into better scores on stage! Offer the judges the TOTAL PACKAGE!!!

There are SO MANY things to cover with competition, and pouring a bunch of money into something that you haven’t properly researched, or prepared for is really a let down. Don’t be disappointed, be Perfectly Prepared, and let me cover the bases for you!
